From O'Reilly Auto Parts' catalog — the store we buy your battery from (checked on a 2003 3.3L and a 2010 4.0L Xterra). Some engines and trims differ, so we confirm the exact battery for your Xterra when you book and show you the price before we install it.

How it works

Book online and pay the service fee — your card is saved. We head to your Xterra, test the old battery, take it to the closest O'Reilly for the core exchange and buy the right new one at the store's walk-in price. Back at your car we charge the battery plus sales tax to your saved card, install it, test the charging system and email your receipt. Installation labor is covered for 90 days.

Straight answers.

By O'Reilly's catalog, the Nissan Xterra takes — 2000–2004: Group 24 (575–840 CCA); 2005–2015: Group 35 (550–765 CCA). Engines can differ, so we confirm the exact battery for your Xterra when you book, and you see the price before we install it.

The catalog lists regular batteries for every Nissan Xterra we cover; an AGM is an upgrade some owners choose for short trips and Oklahoma heat. For 2005–2015, regular and AGM both fit — we'll match what your Xterra came with unless you ask for the upgrade.
