The agreement

I. Agreement Overview

By signing this authorization agreement, you, the client, hereby grant permission to OKC Battery, owned and operated by OKC Mobile Auto Repair & Battery Replacement Service LLC, to perform battery service on your vehicle. This agreement ensures that both parties understand the scope of the work to be completed and the responsibilities of each party involved.

II. Scope of Work

OKC Battery is authorized to test the vehicle's battery and charging system, remove the old battery, and install and test a new battery. This includes removing and reinstalling any battery cover, hold-down bar or bracket needed to reach the battery.

We replace batteries; we are not a repair shop. If we find that something other than the battery is keeping the vehicle from starting, we will tell you before doing anything further. Any additional charge identified during the service will be communicated to the client for approval before proceeding.

III. Client Responsibilities

  1. Accurate Information: The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and its condition. Any previous repairs, modifications, aftermarket electronics or warning lights should be disclosed to avoid potential complications.
  2. Vehicle Accessibility: The client agrees to make the vehicle accessible for the service, in a place where it is safe to work. This includes providing the keys and any relevant security or radio codes.
  3. Ownership: The client confirms that they own the vehicle, or have the owner's permission to authorize this work.
  4. Approval of Additional Charges: The client agrees to promptly respond to any communications regarding additional charges beyond the initial scope of work.

IV. Payment Terms

The service fee is paid when the job is booked. The new battery, at the parts store's walk-in price plus sales tax, and anything required on site (a battery cover or hold-down bracket, or a fuel charge for addresses outside our regular service area) are charged to the card saved with the booking before the new battery is installed. If that card is declined, a secure payment link is emailed instead. An itemized receipt is emailed once the balance is paid.

V. Liability and Warranty

OKC Battery performs all work with the utmost care and professionalism. Our installation labor is warrantied for 90 days, and the battery itself carries its manufacturer's warranty through the store it was purchased from. Full details are in our booking terms at okcbattery.com/terms.

Our warranty does not cover issues arising from causes outside our installation, such as accidents, misuse or electrical problems elsewhere in the vehicle. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, issues not disclosed by the client at the time of service, or the loss of radio presets, clock settings or computer settings that need a code or relearn after the battery is disconnected.

VI. Old Battery

The old battery is taken by OKC Battery for the core exchange at the parts store and is recycled properly. There is no charge for this.

VII. Authorization

By signing and submitting this form, the client authorizes OKC Battery to begin the work on the vehicle described above and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above.

Snap the license plate and VIN photos below and these boxes fill themselves in — or type them.

On the driver's side of the dashboard, through the windshield, or on the door-jamb sticker.

    Where to find it

    The VIN

Door-jamb sticker with the 17-character VIN printed above a barcode
    1. Door-jamb sticker Open the driver's door. It's the white sticker on the edge of the door or on the pillar it closes against — the VIN is printed above the barcode.
Metal VIN plate on the dashboard, seen through the bottom of the windshield
    2. Through the windshield No door sticker? Look through the bottom corner of the windshield on the driver's side — a small metal plate on the dashboard.
Or just snap a photo of either one below and the VIN fills itself in.

    Booking terms

    1. Service fee now, card saved. You pay the service fee when you book. Your card is saved securely with Stripe — we never see the full number.
    2. Battery charged before install. We pull your old battery, buy the new one at the store's walk-in price plus sales tax, and charge your saved card before we install it. If it declines, we email you a secure payment link.
    3. Extras only if needed. $25 if a battery cover or hold-down bracket has to come off — we'll tell you first. A fuel charge applies outside Oklahoma, Cleveland and Canadian counties.
    4. $75 to cancel. Any cancellation or no-show keeps $75, and the rest of your service fee goes back to your card. To cancel, call (405) 777-4978.
    5. Arrival times. Same-day jobs are usually reached in 30–60 minutes, give or take about 15 for traffic. Delays outside our control can happen.
    6. Not the battery? If something else is keeping the car from starting, you aren't charged for a battery, but the service fee isn't refunded.
    7. Gas & diesel only. No hybrids or EVs. Our installation labor is warrantied for 90 days, and the battery carries its manufacturer's warranty.
