How it works
Book online and pay the service fee — your card is saved. We head to your Forte, test the old battery, take it to the closest O'Reilly for the core exchange and buy the right new one at the store's walk-in price. Back at your car we charge the battery plus sales tax to your saved card, install it, test the charging system and email your receipt. Installation labor is covered for 90 days.

By O'Reilly's catalog, the Kia Forte takes — 2010–2013: Group 121R (580–600 CCA); 2014–2018: Group 48 (615–800 CCA); 2019–present: Group 47 (650–660 CCA). Engines can differ, so we confirm the exact battery for your Forte when you book, and you see the price before we install it.
For 2019–present Kia Fortes, the parts store's catalog only lists AGM batteries — those usually came with one from the factory, often for auto start-stop or heavier electrical loads, and we put the same type back. For 2014–2018, regular and AGM both fit — we'll match what your Forte came with unless you ask for the upgrade.
